Has football, which is the only cultural phenomenon uniting people of all religious, linguistic and ethnic groups, said anything about globalization?

Will the national state prevail, or maybe the world will be ruled by the corporations, which will be free from any traditions and territories? What football says about equality, or integration of ethnic groups? Does everything go really smoothly? What about racist assaults in the stadiums? Is there a relation between football and politics? On one hand, sport could be used as a tool by various totalitarian, or authoritarian regimes, reaching for their goals. On the other hand, football can serve for the minority groups with complicated political participation, as the instrument to express their identity. Glasgow „Celtic“, or Bilbao „Athletic“ are only examples.

I will deal with these and many other questions in footballprovince.cafebabel.com. While I am waiting for the translator to join me, please give me more comments and offers  As the legendary coach Bill Shankly from „Liverpool“ said, football is more significant than life and death.
