Higher spirits in Lithuanian cinema

How much time is needed to review 80000 pictures? This visual pleasure lasts just 15 minutes. It is absolutely true, the creators of the first and only Lithuanian photo movie, assured. A Day for Poetry

For nine years in a row now UNESCO tickles poets’ heels with feathers so that they continue writing and for all their work that does not go straight into the rubbish bin to be heard. March 21st is the day when we ought to remember our favourite sonnet by Shakespeare, wear our bow tie or net stockings and write an e-mail that rhymes to our friends and colleagues.

The Show must go on

Last year the global calendar was extended with one more international day, 3rd March, which is dedicated to Freedom of Music.
